Combined Fellowship Application Form

As a result of Clark Library’s closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Center for 17th– & 18th-Century Studies and the William Andrews Clark Memorial Library’s Fellowship Program is suspending applications for the 2021–2022 fiscal year (July 2021–June 2022) for all Short-Term, ASECS/Clark, Predoctoral, Clark Bibliographical, Kenneth Karmiole Endowed Graduate Research, and Kanner Fellowships in British Studies. Applicants who received fellowships for the 2019–20 and 2020–21 fiscal years will be accommodated once the Clark Library is able to re-open.

Applications for Ahmanson-Getty Postdoctoral and Clark Dissertation fellowships will proceed for the 2021–2022 fiscal year and the submission deadline will be February 1, 2021.

Please note that at the end of this form you are required to upload the supporting materials listed below. Supporting materials must be uploaded as Adobe Acrobat documents (.pdf). You cannot complete this application without submitting these materials. The system is designed to accommodate relatively small PDF/Acrobat files (text only, 300K or so). If your supporting materials are very large (2MB+), you may have problems using the form.  Please contact the Center if you encounter problems.

  • Curriculum vitae (maximum of three pages, including a bibliography of published and unpublished scholarly work)
  • Project proposal (maximum of 1,000 words). Please double space your proposal, and include an additional bibliography of Clark Library materials relevant to your research.
