Gulliver, performed by Box Tale Soup

–An original adaptation of Jonathan Swift’s novel Gulliver’s Travels commissioned by the William Andrews Clark Memorial Library

All attendees must adhere to the UCLA COVID-19 Protocol for Organized Events. This protocol will be in effect until further notice and adjusted as needed to respond to evolving public health conditions.

Face masks: It is strongly recommended that all attendees at indoor campus events wear a highly protective mask (i.e. surgical, N95, KN95, or KP94).

Requirements for event entry: All  attendees must present  proof  of  COVID-19  vaccination  or proof  of  negative  COVID-19 test per Los Angeles County Department of Public Health guidelines.

Gulliver, a traveler and pioneer, shipwrecked and lost at sea for nine years, has returned. He tells tales of lands undiscovered and creatures unheard of, but is he really the same man who disappeared so long ago? They say travel broadens the mind…but how far before it breaks?

Box Tale Soup is an award-winning theater company whose critically acclaimed productions have delighted thousands of people in the UK and abroad. Arts on the Grounds creates intersections of literature and the performing arts.  Events have included modern interpretations of classical theater and site-specific productions designed for the Clark grounds. The program engages a broad new range of audiences and brings the Library’s rich collections to life through performance.
